Scanning as a Researcher

Starting a study within the Functional Imaging Laboratory

If you are interested in conducting a study on any of our systems then we ask you to link up with a sponsoring Principal Investigator from one of our Teams to discuss the proposal, or reach out to Martina Callaghan, Head of the Department of Imaging Neuroscience. Once your project has been discussed and a sponsoring Principal Investigator (PI) has been designated you will be able to follow our project pathway.

We recommend that you discuss the feasibility of your proposed study with one of our Neuroimaging Research Teams who develop methods for MRI and MEG at the earliest opportunity.

All projects must be presented at our Departmental Project Presentations Meetings held on Fridays at 2pm. This can also be done before you apply for funding if you would like to get feedback on your proposal prior to submission.
