Nadine Dijkstra - Rising Star!

Exciting news! We are thrilled to hear that Nadine Dijkstra has been named among The Transmitter’s 25 Rising Stars of Neuroscience 2025. The list “recognizes early-career researchers who have made outstanding scientific contributions to the field and demonstrated a commitment to mentoring and community-building.”

Nadine leads the Imagine Reality Lab within the department as Principal Investigator. The group explores the sources and influences of mental imagery and how the brain distinguishes it from reality.

In addition to Nadine’s active engagement in community and mentoring, The Transmitter also noted her 2023 paper ‘Subjective signal strength distinguishes reality from imagination’ as a standout article published in Nature Communications.
